The Caboclo is the light of the bush, it is the root that heals

Because they were born here.
Because Brazil is the village.
Because the land belongs to them.
Because nobody does anything alone.

We are here because they are,
and on their leaves we lie down.

They arrived before us and teach us every day:
handling the herbs,
walking in the woods,
listening to the signs,
to feed the yearnings,
singing to exist,
to heal, to intuit.

Because in intuition they communicate to us.

When we enter the woods they walk together and guide us.
Leaves are forces that never come alone.

Be aware.

Knowing is knowing which leaves we can use or not,
and through faith we learn to discern,
choose and withdraw.

Caboclo discernment is accurate and we only understand it with time:
for shortness of breath,
for the pains of life,
for the weight of the past
for the suffocation of the world.

The leather Caboclo,
of feather,
from the sertão,
from the pristine forest,
from the slab
They never give up on people or abandon the land.

Care, healing and presence are the strengths of those who always know where the arrow falls.
The Caboclo is the root that we worship with love.
Caboclo is a line of work,
spiritual force line,
crossing of energy from the woods.

Brazilian ancestors.

The caboclo is Indian, countryman, cowboy, herdsman, native, from the north, from the south.

The Caboclo is the one who connects us with what we were.
He's who should be the owner of this place,
it's the bush light.
Who said we have no ancestry?
And when the drum plays in the village,
And when He calls those who live far away.
And when He calls also those who came from the other side,
malungos, in the ships.
Faith in Caboclos and Caboclas,
faith in leaves,
faith in the sacred.
